The Initiative is an intermediate-level AU Marvel roleplay set during the year 2012. Borrowing elements from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the officially published Marvel comics of over fifty years, and other such sources, the Initiative aims to create its own community-driven universe under the Marvel brand.
The Avengers are only a mere idea at the moment, while Charles Xavier gathers the most gifted children from around the world.
Currently, Annihilus has invaded New York! Will the heroes that call this city their home be able to save it? Or has annihilation come for Earth?
