He is known to stay at arm's length away from most people, keeping even the darkest parts of himself locked up in the innermost depths of his soul. Nobody knows how deep his darkness is rooted; not even those close to him realize it's hidden behind his charming smiles. However, there is one whom he allowed himself to drop his guard around. Deirdre was the only person who saw him for who he was and accepted him unconditionally, becoming his first and possibly his only friend.
Despite his efforts to keep himself away from her, Deirdre's persistence paid off, and they eventually grew close. Nero became painfully aware of his developing feelings for her, yet he kept those emotions close to his chest, treasuring his time with her. This pretty lady I've dubbed as Simone in almost all of Travis's information where she is concerned. The name doesn't have to stay as Simone, though I think it's very pretty.
While I am very attached to Lily Collins, I will take alternative suggestions as long as they still have that girl-next-door kind of vibe that I think fits well with the nerdy-boy vibe I have for Travis. After all what's better than falling in love with your best friend, when everything is just easy and all the horror and drama can come from outside influences of the world they reside in instead?
That being said, I do have a few solid points that I really won't budge on so that there is a good base for us to work on for the two of them. Especially considering they're both hoping to find the same thing at the end.

Gang Leader | Located in Thieves Bay | Demon | Immortal | Suggested Face Claim: Lee Pace
A strategist at heart, Vaan can to some seem curt and ruthless, but he would sooner cut through the red tape himself and make something happen than sit on his hands and take blow after blow -- however, he is not one to rush into anything without careful thought. As one of the leaders of one of the gangs of Thieves Bay, he keeps his people close and his eyes on the prize.

Because she was adopted and raised by a project scientist (Rhee Iseul), Rhee learned what she was as a teenager and has spent the time since then trying to keep a low profile to avoid the chance that council agents might find out she survived and wondering what became of her fellow clones. Being a part of the forensic team at the NIS gives her access to many databases to help her on her quest, but she has expressed interest in going out into the field. After all an active field agent can turn up in more places...as one of Ji Soo's work buddies she can either do her utmost to protect ji soo from the conspiracy - and cause tension in their relationship - or confess what is going on and enlist her help. or both. There's plenty of chaos these two can get into, especially as Rhee's past comes back to haunt her.

It’s likely they may have stayed together for a time after she turned him but once he expressed wanting to go off on his own, she would have let him. Her own sire forced her to stay with him for decades so she wouldn’t do the same to another.
I want to say that they were probably really great while together. She wouldn’t have turned someone who she didn’t have a connection with or she couldn’t tolerate. I imagine they probably did a lot of killing for fun and used it for kinks. Why they parted ways can be plotted.
