The Saints have been at the top since. An already strong organization now teetering on having total control. Kingstown is the unsuspecting town where they prepare the future of their lineage. But as powerful as they are, they still have enemies - namely those who have been burned by them like witches and what is left of the werewolves.

It is only a matter of time before they are challenged. But by who is the question.

Mystic Falls, established in 1859, a town discovered by the Founding Fathers in hopes of a safe haven for their families during the Civil War. What they did not know, is that Mystic Falls was the hot bed of supernatural activity for as far back as history can recall. Having a long history with vampires, witches and werewolves, this is what makes this uncanny little town hold a deep dark secret.

The year is 2009. The school year is starting back for most and the Founding Families have to do what they must to protect themselves and their children from the things that go bump in the night. Let's go back to the beginning. Back to where it all started.
