WE ARE IN THE SUMMER OF 2009! THE SCHOOL YEAR HAS YET TO BEGIN, AND EVERYONE IS TRYING TO GET THE BEST OF SUMMER IN WHILE THEY HAVE THE CHANCE. THE LOCKWOODS ARE THROWING THEIR ANNUAL WET AND WILD PARTY FOR ALL THE RETURNING STUDENTS TO MYSTIC FALLS HIGH AND THERE IS NO TELLING WHAT TROUBLE THESE TEENAGERS WILL GET INTO.
With the recent escape of the vampire Lorenzo St. John, Grayson Gilbert feels beside himself as he decides on what to do with the information he knows. Is he willing to let Mystic Falls burn in the name of science or is he going to do something to stop Lorenzo from bringing harm to him and his family? The party at the Lockwoods will start at noon and go into the late hours of the night. There's no telling what innocent bystander could be standing on deaths door. The Founder's Council advised Mayor Lockwood that it would be wise to postpone with the recent deaths reported out of Whitmore College, but he is confident that the council can handle it should any problems arise. So, come join in the fun and don't forget to bring a towel!

Some Kind of Disaster is a canon driven Vampire Diaries rpg site. We are going back to the very beginning and rewriting the story our way. Grayson and Miranda Gilbert are still very much alive and the work that Grayson does with the Augustine Society has started to raise questions among the Founder's Council. The Augustine Vampire, Lorenzo St. John has escaped from his torturous captivity and seeks revenge on the Salvatore that left him for dead and the surviving members of the society.
