Dark Tranquility is an original kink/story driven, modern supernatural site with humans, vampires, werewolves and witchcrafters. We are a mature 18+ character driven site with no word count, set in the fictional city of Disturbia, Massachusetts. A city where supernaturals walk as imitation humans, blending in with society to keep their true identities hidden.
The City of Disturbia is rich with businesses, heavy in tourism, overwhelmed in violence, and bustling in the nightlife scene. It's a breeding ground to attract individuals from all walks of life. This includes the fabled supernaturals!

Having opened in early Feb 2024, we are excited to be nearing our third month of play! We are a dark fantasy ACOTAR AU roleplay loosely based on the book series 'A Court of Thorns and Roses' by Sarah J Maas.
Our major site wide plot vibes with the first book where an evil Queen has taken over and is generally causing chaos and strife through all the courts and for the High Lords. The theme generally follows a fantasy tone when it comes to buildings and clothing with modern ish touches like indoor plumbing, heating and lighting that runs on magic. We encourage creativity for our members to make up quests, fight beasts and RP out some exciting adventures.
