Silver Springs is a JCINK forum play-by-post roleplay and writing experience that explores the lives, emotions, dramas, dynamics, romance, and relationships of both the residents and newcomers of a sleepy, small town as they try to maneuver through daily life and try to overcome challenges, obstacles, conflict, and their own traumas. There is a loose magical atmosphere about our setting that allows for characters to be personifications of a specific object, which can be reflected in either their personality, background, day-to-days, or even be manifested as a minor ability or special talent that makes every character unique, and the legend of the flower goddess that is both become a religious deity for the people of Silver Springs and a story of hope to continue to believe in the future.

As more characters become part of our little cherry blossom borough, we hope to discover more locations and new skills and experience other events and festivals that make your time worthwhile.

Welcome to Rakuen,

A space colony, where people are protected by the great AI entity known as the Sibyl System. Cymatic scans are run regularly to weed out the dangerous or could-be dangerous members of society. Sibyl System also determines what career paths would be best suited for a person, so no one has to worry over indecesivenes or unnecessary stress.

There are pilots of mecha, androids who scour the earth that had been scourged by radiation centuries past, AI to help better peoples' lives, cybernetics for the common populace, and more. Its your best life in Rakuen.

OOC Notes

- Only reviewed apps are player apps regarding themselves; character apps aren't reviewed
- Applications are almost entirely optional
- No need to wait for staff. Everything's autonomous: tracking threads, face claims, and even moving your own threads
- Use 3D anime-style art, or illustrated anime-style art
- Create organisations, lineages, and lore** by contributing to our members-only wiki
- Search the stars, or search the earth
- No admins, just a game master like in DnD.

10 years ago this year, a hidden feud spilled out into the public eye and consumed the world. Peace was achieved on New Dawn Island and now magic and powers in general have grown common place and accepted. Special schools across the globe teach kids how to harness their abilities. None more established and prestigious as Trinity Academy on New Dawn Island. Now, forces are at work and mysteries wait to be uncovered on this stage that once again hold's the fate for the world's future.

Shadows of Our Youth(SOY) is a powers based school rp set in the current day, ten years after a war between magic and psionic ability users. The location is Trinity Academy, one of the first schools established after the power war located on New Dawn Island where the war originally ended 10 years ago. It's home to bustling cities and rural towns and all manner of characters, groups, secrets and plots lay around every corner for you to discover. We're relatively sandbox with a site plot you can either follow or completely forgo for something you're more interested in.
