Our story centres around the people who work in the Beaufort Building - an office building north of Times Square that is home to a number of industries. We have the Beau Records studio, fashioned after the Brill Building that songwriters like Carole King called home. You'll also find Scene Magazine, taking its inspiration from the Village Voice, and a fashion house.

While the Beaufort is a central location, everyone has lives outside of work - New York is a big place with endless stories to tell.

At the beginning of time, the very first God of Cosmos brought peace to the world. He did so by subjugating the people that roamed the world so the Heavenly realm became the de facto ruler of everything, dividing the lands into three other realms; The Flower, the Mortal and the Demon realm. Since then, the Heavenly realm has been ruled by the God of Cosmos, alongside thirteen other deities.

30.000 years ago, the God of Chaos – a demon and revered deity – attempted to make himself the de facto ruler across all the four realms; The Heavenly, the Flower, the Demon and the Mortal realm. He was eventually defeated and sealed far away, deep within the Flower temple. The Demon realm, heavily implicated by the wrongdoings of the god of Chaos, and they were cast out, left to fend for themselves, no longer under the rule of the Heavenly Realm.

The racial hatred between fairies and demons runs deep, and generation after generation, millenia after millenia, it has seeped into the very core of society. Though not very different, interbreeding between the species has always been seen as something ‘filthy’ and the sudden marriage arrangement between the Goddess of Light and the God of Darkness, fairy and demon respectively, has set the four realms on fire.

With constant border struggles between the Heavenly and the Demon realm, the ultimate victims have been the people, with many having suffered personal losses. Their husbands, their fathers, their brothers and their friends…

Power of Belief is an 18+ modern fantasy, sandbox roleplay that is loosely inspired by William Joyce’s Guardians of Childhood series. We encourage creativity and imagination, we welcome ideas and characters across different fandoms and lore!

Nine months ago during the heart of a festival after the school year was said and done an evil plot was acted out. People were killed, like the brave Hermione Granger, shops were bombed and destroyed, and children all overran from a place they just moments ago had been enjoying. The Knights of Walpurgis made their entrance and their presence known. They attempted to bring back Voldemort but failed; instead, they brought back Gellert Grindelwald. Now both sides are scrambling for full control, some parts of London the Knights control while the Order protects other zones.

However, just across the pond in America, people hear whispers of what is happening in Britain, some say that could never happen in America, while others voice their concerns for the people in Britain. The town itself was founded by families that were fleeing persecution because of their beliefs and who or what they were. Over the years the town has become a haven to all things sinister and corrupt.

There was once a time when werewolves were the species garnering the most power. Their royal family was feared and respected. But with great power comes the ability to fall and fall the werewolves did. In wanting to rise to the top, powerful warlocks known as the Saints seized control and cursed the royals from their bipedal forms to their true wolf and slaughtered others. Of course, some escaped but not all.

The Saints have been at the top since. An already strong organization now teetering on having total control. Kingstown is the unsuspecting town where they prepare the future of their lineage.
