For thirty thousand years, the realms have existed in the aftermath of a divine war that sealed the God of Chaos, cast out the Demon Realm, and erased entire lands from the map, leaving the remaining realms to rebuild under an uneasy, hard-won peace.

Now, that peace is shifting. Lost kingdoms return, old connections resurface, and across the world, rulers and factions alike begin to seek alliances in a landscape that is no longer as stable as it once was.

Welcome to Choice & Consequence, an 18+ premium Jcink original fantasy roleplay where divine legacies, fractured kingdoms, and mortal ambition collide. Whether you’re drawn to romance, betrayal, power struggles, or prophecy, there’s a place for you here. The mists have lifted. The world is watching. Which side of history will you stand on?

Gloaming, Indiana is a former quarry town built over converging leylines, where fog settles over Victorian neighborhoods and something supernatural lives just beneath the surface. Witches wield volatile magic. Vampires hold old grudges. Dragons remember the sky they lost. Fae refugees have settled in the mundane realm as well, and even dream-born Oneiri now walk the waking world under the terms of a tenuous bargain.

Months after black rain and violent tremors tore the town apart, rebuilding continues under a carefully managed story. Most residents remember the fear, but not the why. The Sanctum Concordat has tightened control. As with many supernatural events throughout history, the truth of what happened has been deliberately suppressed.

Gloaming survived. That doesn’t mean the town is safe.

Carpe Noctem is a plot-forward modern supernatural RP focused on gothic atmosphere, conspiracies, and character-driven stories with lasting consequences.

Help rebuild the town. Exploit the cracks. Investigate what everyone else forgot.

Come for the monsters. Stay for the fallout.

14 playable species. 25+ writers only. No word count. Profile application. Original characters. Sitewide and member-led plots. Fresh events every quarter.

Seize the night—before it seizes you.

For the supernatural whose mysteries rely on illusion for survival, Las Vegas is a seductive beacon drawing folk from the shadows to writhe and hustle alongside mundane mortals. Behind the blinding neon lights and allure of Sin City lurks a hidden truth humming at the edge of consciousness: Magic is real. Monsters exist. Demigods and myths walk among the living, and the barrier keeping the two realities apart is rapidly bleeding out.
Beyond the mundane lies The Wilds—a supernatural plane surrounding Reality, feeding magic while drawing strength from human belief, fears, and dreams. For a millennia, six great realms took turns occupying the Seat of Dominion. But during the 1940s, catastrophic occult and scientific rituals tore open The Veil, shattering the ancient cycle and stopping the wheel in its tracks. Las Vegas—built atop a massive convergence of magical leylines—has become the ultimate battleground where Folk, mortals, secret syndicates, and government agencies scheme to control the broken balance of existence.
WHAT WE OFFER
Sandbox with Options: Explore the cosmic conflict of The Wilds, the empty Seat of Dominion, and a broken Veil—or focus on local character-driven drama across Sin City.
Flexible Character Creation: Play as anything from folklore with a sytem that leaves the supernatural open!
18+ Original Character RP: Open-ended player and world-driven plots, relaxed activity requirements, and a welcoming Discord community.
CORE SETTING CONCEPTS
The Wilds & Reality: The supernatural plane and the mortal world locked in a symbiotic exchange of magic and human belief.
The Veil & Veil Tears: The thinning boundary between worlds, prone to dangerous rifts caused by occult rituals and unknown rifts.
The Broken Cycle & The Seat of Dominion: The vacant seat at the center of the cosmic wheel, left unmastered since the The Catalyst and actively fought over by opposing realms and factions.
The Factions: Navigate the shadows alongside The Midnight Society enforcing the Truce along the leylines, or AEGIS investigating supernatural threats— or join a player made faction!

A dark, modern supernatural rpg set in the now broken state of New York. Choose your faction, friends, family, and foes. The world is your oyster - or however that saying goes. The plot is simple, explore this new world and carve your destiny out in the ruins from a war between the supernaturals. A world that is filled with secrets, creatures, magic, and danger. We offer werewolves, vampires, warlocks, witches, humans, shifters, gifted humans, and hybrids for species. There are plenty of canons and request ads.
